Yesterday was our 3rd anniversary which is traditionally the "leather anniversary." We stuck to the tradition - Ryan gave me a braid leather Pandora bracelet and I gave him two belts. I'm looking forward to adding charms to my bracelet over the years and Ryan really needed some new belts (you can see one of them in the photo below). He also got some new cargo shorts, which are always his favorite. He also spoiled me with a spring bouquet and some Lindor truffles!
We went to dinner at St. Cecilia and ate like royalty: charred octopus, charcuterie platter, gnudi, risotto, and Georgia Drum. The octopus was my favorite thing of the night, but we were also really impressed with the amount of meat we got on the charcuterie platter. We loved both of our pasta courses; the risotto was served with clams and greens which was quite good and the gnudi were little pasta pillows made from ricotta cheese - we loved them! It was the first time either of us had Georgia Drum which was a tender white fish, the fish was good but the artichokes and caper berries it was served with really made the dish. So glad we saved the menu to add to our collection!
As we were eating Ryan toasted to our last anniversary dinner without a baby sitter at home. Wow! What a great observation. We are looking forward to many more anniversary dinners - with a baby sitter at home!
